What it is
The Windows Event log can become damaged if the system is shutdown improperly.This application uses the algorithm described by The University of Delaware Police Computer Forensics Lab to fix the file.
In short, it finds the last good records after the floating footer marker and copies that data to the main header.
How To Run
- Download the appropriate file for your system.
- Put it onto a desktop.
- Perhaps uncompress it, depending on what your browser does for you.
- Run it.
